Because of Jeremiah Program, I’m doing things I never thought I’d do. I’m on my way to becoming an ER trauma nurse and am laying the foundation for pursuing my masters degree. More importantly, I’m finally becoming an empowered and determined advocate for myself and my son Benjamin. We’re both achieving and growing in so many ways, and are thankful for the safe, stable and supportive environment that is Jeremiah Program.

Family Services

Jeremiah Program is dedicated to our participants’ long-term success and self-reliance. We understand the importance of education and employment—the cornerstones of Jeremiah Program Family Services—and offer programs and support to help participants achieve their goals.

Education

Post-secondary education is the first step on the path to stable, gainful employment and a future full of possibility. Jeremiah Program participants are required to complete a two- to four-year post-secondary education from an approved, accredited college of their choosing. In addition, they participate in personal empowerment and life skills training to help increase their capacity for success.

Employment

While in residence, participants work part-time and participate in career development training. They have access to Jeremiah Works!, which offers programs and activities to prepare participants for future employment. From one-on-one career coaching to internship, externship and job placement opportunities, Jeremiah Works! supports participants on the path to employment by linking them to the community and helping them to make connections within chosen career field.
