Because of Jeremiah Program, I’m doing things I never thought I’d do. I’m on my way to becoming an ER trauma nurse and am laying the foundation for pursuing my masters degree. More importantly, I’m finally becoming an empowered and determined advocate for myself and my son Benjamin. We’re both achieving and growing in so many ways, and are thankful for the safe, stable and supportive environment that is Jeremiah Program.

Campus Life

Campus life is busy. Mothers attend school, work part-time and attend Life Skills classes while parenting their small children. During the day, children participate in their classrooms at the Child Development Center. As a background to such busy days, Jeremiah Program offers safe, affordable housing and supportive on-campus programs and activities to help women succeed.

Safe and Stable Housing

Each family moves into a fully furnished two- or three-bedroom apartment that includes a living room, dining area, kitchen, and bathroom. Regulatory bodies conduct customary apartment inspections to ensure a safe and clean living environment. A secure entry system monitors all visitors. Within this campus environment, participants build their fiscal management skills by paying income-based rent and independently managing their household budgets.

Resident Council

Resident Council provides an opportunity for campus-wide discussion of program and community events, concerns, policies, rules, ideas and celebrations. It is led by the Resident Council Leadership team, a peer-elected group of women that volunteer in support of the program.
