Jeremiah Program affects generations to come. If the mothers can get off the vicious cycle of welfare then their children won't be caught up in that, and so on. It's like a snowball going downhill.

Annual Fund

As a donor to the Annual Fund, the bedrock of Jeremiah Program’s annual operating support, you help single mothers break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their future.  Large or small, every gift counts - and every gift matters.

Our Life Skills coaching for program participants, Child Development Center scholarships for their children and safe, affordable housing for the families are all possible due to your Annual Fund gift.  For example:

  • $20 - pays for an Empowerment workbook for a new resident
  • $30 - buys a week’s worth of formula for one infant in our Child Development Centers
  • $50 - provides bus fare for residents to attend work and school for three months
  • $100 - buys books, posterboard, and other literacy materials for children in Saint Paul
  • $500 - provides emergency tuition assistance to keep a single mother enrolled in school
  • $1000 - provides five weeks of scholarship assistance to a preschooler in Minneapolis

Jeremiah Program residents face challenges head-on with optimism and grace. Your support allows them to focus on school, their children, and the future. Even better, a generous challenge grant matches all gifts from new donors - so if this is your first time making a financial contribution, your gift goes twice as far! Thank you for giving generously.

Gifts “in honor of” or “in memory of” someone special to you can be made year-round on an anniversary or at special time of year.  If you would like to learn more about other giving options like stock gifts or planned giving, please contact our Annual Fund Director, Stephanie Payne.

Thank you for your commitment to Jeremiah Program and the families we serve!
