• Safe, Affordable, Campus-Style Living for Families

    Jeremiah Program currently has two fully operational campuses: one in downtown Minneapolis near the Basilica and one in St. Paul campus in the Rondo neighborhood. A campus will open in Austin, Texas, in 2013-14, and Fargo-Moorhead community leaders are exploring the possibility of establishing a program in their community.

  • Minneapolis & St Paul Campuses

    Our Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses are both conveniently located on major transportation lines and near area schools. The Minneapolis campus is adjacent to Minneapolis Community and Technical College and the St. Paul campus is just one block off 94 with easy access to several post-secondary schools nearby.

  • Cozy Living Spaces

    Jeremiah Program’s cozy apartments are fully furnished, with 2 and 3-bedrooms options available depending upon family needs. Living rooms come furnished with a sofa.

  • Fully Equipped Kitchens

    All Jeremiah Program apartments have a fully equipped kitchen and a kitchen table for family dining.

  • Spaces for Children to Grow

    Jeremiah children prosper in their safe, fun and comfortable living environment. Their bedrooms come equipped with beds and dressers for all residents.

  • Place for Families to Spend Time Together

    Our Child Development Center also provide ample books and learning materials for children and their mothers.

  • Ample Areas to Gather

    Our comfortable campus environment includes plenty of shared space to gather, whether for formal meetings or informal conversation. Safety is a high priority, with access controlled by keycards and 24-hour security monitoring.

  • On-Site Classrooms for Education & Training Courses

    Spacious, comfortable rooms are available for Life Skills and Personal Empowerment courses that all residents participate in while in the program.

  • Spacious, Fun Outdoor Play Areas

    Outdoor play spaces feature plenty of safe, sturdy equipment and space for children to play.

  • Apartments Designed for Studying

    Our apartments offer ample study space for the young women in our program. A desk is provided with each unit.

Campus Life

Jeremiah Program meets the needs of single-parent families for safe, stable and affordable housing in a supportive campus environment. Currently, there are two fully functioning campuses: one in Minneapolis (39 units) and one in Saint Paul (38 units).

Residents live in independent, fully furnished apartments in a secure community that provides a unique combination of services, support and social interaction. This community environment not only provides a welcome level of stability and focus for families but it also leads to collaborative relationships that last long beyond graduation.

The 2–3 bedroom apartments come furnished with beds and dressers, kitchen table, living room sofa, desk, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. Community spaces, on-site Child Development Centers, outdoor playgrounds, laundry facilities, and 24-hour security monitoring make these Jeremiah campuses truly supportive living environments.

Resident Council

Resident Council provides a forum for self-governance. Residents support each other and build collaborative relationships that last long beyond graduation.

Resident Councils at both the Minneapolis and Saint Paul campuses address community life and plan family activities. Participants work together to support each other with academic help and study groups, babysitting, transportation, and physical or mental health challenges.

Participants are required to attend monthly Resident Council meetings, and Resident Council leaders plan the agenda and conduct the meetings with guidance from staff.
